• It seems that sidebar from evolve theme does not have translation for headers: popular, recent, comments (I have site in polish language). I have found tabs-widget.php in which those names are hardcoded. IIs there any way I can replace those elements with language reference?

Thanks a lot for all help.

    Hello,
Feeltheworld.pl, but I have a manually modified sidebar.php to translate recent posts and recent comments. Unfortunatelly each time theme is updated I need to redo all steps. Please also take a look on ‘read more’ button on blog page for polish version. This piece I was not able to translate.
    Looking forward hearing from you
    Best Regards,
    Anna

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in,

It seems to be fine here even the read more buttons are also successfully translated at our end:

You might should make a child theme just to keep that code from being overwritten in a theme update.

    Thanks.

Thanks for reply. I have child theme for css changes, but php does not Work:( Should I have sidebar.php copy in child theme only or some additional referencing is required?

One additional questions – did you perform this check for Polish language?

I do not see this language under this link:(
    Thanks,

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in,

Its fine by having sidebar.php copy in child theme and secondly I’ve checked the translation for Polish language and it worked totally well here:

    Thanks.

    hello,
thanks a lot for your reply. In attached links I do not see blog page, just start page. when you go to https://feeltheworld.pl/wordpress/pl/blog/ (polish version) you will see few posts and below each ‘read more’ button which is not translated. are you able to reproduce it on your end?
Btw in my version even boostrap slider does not have titles translated.
    Thanks a lot,
    Anna

    Hi Anna,

First I require you to check whether you are using latest evolve version into your website because sometimes most common bugs and specific issues can be solved by an update.

    https://www.ads-software.com/themes/download/evolve.3.3.0.zip?nostats=1

Secondly, That seems to be odd where in polish version some read more buttons are in English language under the posts.

    https://prntscr.com/752tos

For such you can remove that change read more text to the polish translation.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
I am using latest evolve version, so this issue is not connected with the lack of update. I was analyzing source code and it seems that ‘Read more’ button below post does not have proper reference to translation string. Somehow it is missing in PL.mo file.
I do not think it is translation plugin issue. Could you take a look?
As for button just below picture – polish version ‘Trasa’ it is different case. For this element there is field available where I can put string for this button. This one is not tranlated in other way, so it is always polish. There is no tranlation option for this:( Is it possible to make it translatable?
    Thanks for all your help.
    Best Regards,
    Anna
