Themer connector problem

  • The BB layout I’m using for the Dashboard works great including Themer Coonditional Logic to display or hide items depending on the user Role.

    But one simple thing eludes me. I’m using a Heading module where I’m trying to insert (as opposed to Connect) via the Themer Connector the logged in User Name. For example:

    Dashboard for [wpbb site:user_name type='firstlast' link='no' user='current']

    When I save that, the correct user name shows up while editing the layout and upon publishing the layout. However when I actually go to the Dashboard, the shortcode is NOT rendered and I only see “Dashboard for” as the heading.

    Am I doing something wrong? Is there a problem with this plugin not being able to render a BB shortcode in the Dashboard, or do you think it’s a BB/Themer bug?
