• Hi,

I am using a theme I love, but am thinking about switching to a different theme that is responsive (mine is not responsive).

If I switch to the new theme and everything looks ‘crazy’ or I don’t like it, can I just switch back to my current theme in appearance/themes and all will 100% for sure come back just as it is now?

I will do a backup via my hosting provider too – but just wanted to know if I click on a new theme in appearance/themes and then click back if anything gets messed up. Also – if I do this (click on new theme, click back on current theme) do I lose any custom CSS?

    Thank you in advance!

  • Yes, you can switch back – and the settings/options are saved for the theme in the database so they should reappear. But yes, a back up is the best guarantee.

CSS should be saved for the first theme, yes, but it won’t apply to any other theme.
