Hi, site has not done any updates since i installed this plugin 2 weeks ago. Did a health check and see below.

Message #1 – Background updates are not working as expected
Background updates ensure that WordPress can auto-update if a security update is released for the version you are currently using.
    – A plugin has prevented updates by disabling wp_version_check().

Message #2 – A scheduled event has failed
The scheduled event, action_scheduler_run_queue, failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.

Message #3 – The REST API encountered an unexpected result
The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API call gave the following unexpected result: (403) {“code”:”rest_cookie_invalid_nonce”,”message”:”Cookie nonce is invalid”,”data”:{“status”:403}}.

My site stopped checking for updates ever since I installed the plugin, and its the same even with Easy Updates Manager deactivated.

What do I need to configure so that my site can start checking for updates again?

    Kindly advice.

    Thanks

I would look into why your host has disabled those.

Hi Ronald, thanks for your reply. I have the exact site setup on two leading web hosts companies, Siteground and Hostgator. So you are saying this issue is due to the settings of two different host companies after I installed your plugin?
