Themes compatibility after 4.0 upgrade

    Hello,

    is it ok if I buy a premium wordpress 3.9.2 theme in the near future? Will it be completely compatible with the 4.0 WP ? Or should I wait for 4.0 themes? Please answer soon,

    If the theme provider is Doing It Right? then there will be no issues. 4.0 is just the next major release after 3.9.x. and it should be fine.

    That said… some (thankfully not many [no, I’m not saying who]) commercial theme author’s are Doing It All Wrong? and as Andrew said checking with them is the best way to make sure.
