Themes gone away

    I have moved my site to a new server.
    Everything works sort of fine except the themes are gone.

    They are in the folder. they can be viewed on the blogs, but they cant change themes. they are ALL gone under network->themes.

    Any idea why its like this?

    By the way. When i check the allowed themes option in wp_sitemeta it is empty..

    Is there anywhere in wordpress i have to set the “path” from root to where wordpress “lives” ?

    No. Nary a one.

    All I can think is somehow when you moved the site over, something got corrupted. But I haven’t a clue what…

    ETA: This is where I’d do a fresh install to see if I can recreate it.

    So i should set up a test site on the same server and se if it works?

    i set up a site with a “vanilla” wordpress out of the box, with no wordpress rewrites. Just nginx default settings.

    I cannot see the themes on that install either.

    i am using PHP 5.4.12 Is there anything in the phpinfo file that is wrong that you can see?

    This is still not resolved. Is there anything in my PHPinfo that is wrong?

    i have actually now searched every line in my PHP.ini file.

    Commentet out every line that was activated 1 by 1. And i have found the error.

    i donw know why all these ssettings are disabled. But which one of them do i NEED to have enabled?

    disable_functions = passthru,exec,system,chroot,scandir,chgrp,chown,shell_exec,
    proc_open,proc_get_status,ini_alter,ini_alter,ini_restore,
    dl,pfsockopen,openlog,syslog,readlink,symlink,popepassthru,
    stream_socket_server,fsocket,fsockopen

    can i diable them all?

    That it totally bizarre… symlink is probably the one that’s killing it, but fsockopen and passthru are ones I use all the time.

    This is time to go talk to 1&1 about WHY they disable them. They may have reasons based on their setups.
