Themes quit working since upgrading to Strayhorn

    For some reason, since I upgraded to the Srayhorn release, I have been unable to change themes. Well, technically, I can change themes, and the presentation panel acknowledges the change, but the look of the blog stays the same.

    Does anyone have any idea of what I’ve done wrong this time?

    You have to switch on theming for Strayhorn by editing index.php. Check you have the current version of index.php and that use_themes is set to TRUE.

    Themeing should be on by default. Are you trying to use a v1.2.x theme?

    I’ve been running 1,5 nightlies all along. I have about 10 1.5 themes loaded; I hadn’t been having any trouble switching, now event though the presentation panel indicates – for instance, that I am running ‘old train’ it is till showing the same as it was. Then if I switch to “green track’, it indicates I am running ‘green track’ but still no actual change.

    Like I said. when I was running the nightlies, this wasn’t a problem, just when I uploaded Strayhorn last night did this happen.

    I gotta ask this…did you run .../wp-admin/upgrade.php?

    You need to set WP_USE_THEMES in the index.php living at your Blog Address. See the 1.5 default index.php for an example.
