Hello, I am setting up a website on local host with Blask theme. It looks nice, but I have one issue. The width of the theme goes only halfway my screen. How can I change the theme so that is uses the whole screen?

  • Hi –

Thanks for writing to us. Which page are you referring to, the front page? blog page? all pages?

Please tell me what size screen you’re using. It’d be great to get a screen shot too. Add that here with a link from snag.gy or similar program. Then I can see exactly what you’re seeing.

The detailed theme set up instructions are here: https://wordpress.com/theme/blask
The theme demo site is also available for reference at: https://blaskdemo.wordpress.com/

Hoping that will help get you started.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

I use a 17 inch laptop. All pages stop in the middle of the screen, I do not know how to adjust the width. I cannot adapt it in the customiser. I have 2 screenshots of 2 different pages, so you can see what I mean.

Think I found it. It is in the CSS. With the class .hentry.page I can change the max-width to what I want. Thanks for your effort.

That’s great. Just make sure you check the site on multiple devices, with varying sizes.

Yes I did in the customizer, looked fine. Thanks.
