This is ridiculous. No one forces you to buy our Premium version and our free plugin works fine on its own.

Providing all of your plugins for free is not sustainable in any way, so yes, I charge for certain features.

I’m a solo developer trying to make a living off of WordPress plugins. Spending hours a day on support, listening to user requests and developing new features. This is a full-time job so it’s impossible to do this for free.

Sorry for destroying your business but if all developers would be like you this place wouldn’t exist at all, the plugin I posted is doing the same thing that you want to sell.

You’re giving me a 1 star review that’s not even based on how the plugin works (the free one, the review doesn’t have anything to do with the Premium version).

I gave you 1 star for the support of the plugin. I asked you for a feature and you said you will do it but will charge for it.

    Sounds like an honest review.

Anyway I’ll stop the discussion. I’ll repeat what I said in the support forum for anyone that might stumble upon this:

I provide 6 free plugins that work perfectly well on their own. Some of them have a Premium version with even more features. I honestly don’t see anything wrong with that.

These 6 FREE plugins wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the Premium counterpart. Thousands of users are happily using my free plugins and I happily support them. The few that upgrade to the Premium version are the ones that allow the others to have it for free.

I’m not taking advantage of anything.

One more time I have nothing personal with you but this semi-free plugins became a trend and it’s annoying.

I know I said I would stop the discussion but I think you’re just looking at it the wrong way.

If you strip away all Premium features from my plugins I honestly believe they still stand on their own and provide plenty of functionality. Perhaps not all the functionality you personally want (e.g. infinity load), but then you can look for alternatives. No plugin is perfect

I mean, more than 95% just stick with our free plugins, so they seem to be happy with everything the free versions offer. You’re suggesting that I should just publish my Premium plugin elsewhere and keep my free versions off of www.ads-software.com. Pretty sure thousands of my users would disagree.

A 1 star review that’s not about the plugin in question is personal to me, which is why I’m having a hard time letting this go.

    hi! great plugin thanks!

I want to make the boxes bigger and of same height / width. How to do that? Any help would be great!
