I have a website created with Elementor and Woocommerce. I’m designing a page but I see that when I click on “Add to cart” the credit card fields don’t appear, so they can’t be filled out. I’ve been having this problem for weeks, can someone help me?

    Hi @jotasantos988 ,

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue with your Elementor-designed WooCommerce site.

I have a website created with Elementor and Woocommerce. I’m designing a page but I see that when I click on “Add to cart” the credit card fields don’t appear

To clarify, does the issue occur only when using Elementor to design the page, or do you see the same problem on the default WooCommerce checkout page as well, with the default Storefront theme activated and Elementor deactivated?

I tested this on my end using the classic [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode, and the credit card field appears correctly.

Could you try adding the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode to a test page and see if the payment fields display properly? If they do, the issue might be related to another plugin or Elementor’s checkout block module.

Let us know what you find!

Thank you for your reply. I have checked without Elementor and with the shortcode [woocommerce_checkout] and the fields to include the card details do not appear either. I have checked that on my “my account” page, within “payment methods” the fields are displayed, so I understand that it would not be a Stripe problem.

I have tried changing browsers, clearing cache, reinstalling the Stripe plugin, trying with Woopayments, but in no case do the card fields appear.

    Hello jotasantos988,

    Thank you for your reply.

I visited your site and went through the checkout process.
This is not a default checkout process where we add a product to the cart, go to the cart, and then reach the checkout page. Here everything is happening on one page.

In the console tab of the browser, I noticed a few errors and warnings about Stripe.
I suspect the problem is caused by how your theme or page builder plugin has set up the product page which also has a Checkout form.

To further investigate the issue, I suggest you create a traditional flow for the checkout process.
Then check if the issue persists on the Checkout page that has the URL https://www.yoursite.com/checkout/

Let me know how it g oes.

    Best regards.

It’s now fixed. It wasn’t working because the payment page was not assigned correctly from Woocomerce > Settings > Page Installation. I created an individual page for the checkout, changed the payment plugin and it worked. Thanks
