I’ve just installed WP Portfolio and added 10 sites. All the thumbnails are showing fine in admin. I’ve gone through the list of potential issues in the FAQ and everything in settings appears ok.

I’ve created the public page with the shortcode, but all that it shows is:

    There are no portfolio websites

    The URL in question is:

    https://www.dynafish.net/portfolio/

I’m using the Divi theme, but have tried with standard WordPress themes with the same result. Also tried:

    – different browsers
    – deactivating and reactivating the plugin
    – running the update tables routine

    but the problem persists.

Any help appreciated – thank you.

    Hello!

That error message was recently introduced, so there could be a bug related to one of the new features. Could you verify that your group is active (since we added the ability to set groups inactive)? Also, please provide the exact shortcode you are using.

    Thanks!

    Hiya

All sorted – my bad: I was unaware that every site had to be assigned to a group. Everything is displaying ok now.

Great plugin and service, thank you ??

Ah, good job figuring that out! So it was possible due to the new feature to support multiple groups per listing, also making it possible to not put a listing into ANY group. ??

Thank you for updating this ticket, for posterity, because others may run into the same issue! Please take a moment to give a 5-star review, if you do love the service and plugin. It would be very much appreciated! ??

    Take care,

How about having a default group which could be automatically assigned to new sites? You already create a group My Websites, so that could initially be made the default group.

    Just an idea…

That’s a good point. I believe it used to be that way before but adding the ability to have multiple groups must have changed the default behavior. That should be an easy fix and I will take your suggestion to my developer who is working on the plugin and have them make that change. Thank you for pointing that out! ??

Also saw your awesome review. Thank you!!

    Cheers,

    Brandon
