Hi, i’m using the DHL basic plugin, but its not working on my site. We don’t use zipcodes in Nigeria, and if i put in the origin state code, the plugin still returns this error.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?><res:DCTResponse xmlns:res='https://www.dhl.com' xmlns:xsi='https://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xsi:schemaLocation= 'https://www.dhl.com DCT-Response.xsd'><GetQuoteResponse><Response><ServiceHeader><MessageTime>2017-09-08T13:47:17.240+01:00</MessageTime><MessageReference>1234567890123456789012345678901</MessageReference><SiteID>xmlEIGHTY8A</SiteID></ServiceHeader></Response><Note><Condition><ConditionCode>3020</ConditionCode><ConditionData>The origin country NG location postal code or City LOS is invalid. Please check the origin country location details. </ConditionData></Condition></Note></GetQuoteResponse></res:DCTResponse>

Is there a way to make the plugin work here, or it only works in some countries? Thank you

  • Hi @altoin,

The reason you’re not getting the rates showing up is because DHL does not recognize the city you have provided in the settings page.

If you don’t have zip codes in Nigeria leave that field blank. Make sure you have entered the correct City name, and the state code.

If it is Lagos Please enter the full city name not just LOS. and use the state code as LA.

In the checkout page you’ll have to enter the country, state and city for the countries without zip codes.

If you’re still not getting the DHL rates please check in the DHL rate Calculator to see if the services is available for the source and destination.
