    Hello,

I keep getting errors now with this plugin. It causes my site to crash and now locks me out from signing into my site with the error: “There has been a critical error on this website.” This last time happened when I pressed the button to update the woocommerce database, but again, it has been going on for more than a day and I need to get to the bottom of this. In the past I have never experienced such issues as this, so not sure what’s going on now.

    Hi there,

Typically, this is caused by another plugin conflicting with WooCommerce. To test, first, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

    Best,

    Ross

Thanks, got it solved. Did all of those things and none of them were the problem. Turns out that the problem was caused by a faulty SiteGround backup. Fortunately, I had another a separate backup that I installed and the problems just went away.
