Previously the Embed Plus YouTube WordPress Plugin was working well on my website (see link to page with video gallery through [embedyt] command).

Now, when this plugin is activated, the WordPress admin dashboard isn’t available and the following error message is shown instead:

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

What could be the issue or how could I find out what is the issue?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

    WordPress version: 6.1.1

Embed Plus YouTube WordPress Plugin version: 14.1.5

I’m using the following other plugins:

Additional information: currently I disabled all add-ins through phpMyAdmin and actived them one by one in order to be able to access the admin dashboard. I currently kept the Embed Plus YouTube WordPress Plugin deactivated.

I don’t know whether this issue occurred only with the latest update or already earlier, but in general I always try to keep everything up-to-date.

Additional information: now I activated the Embed Plus YouTube WordPress Plugin again. The Youtube videos are shown correctly. Only now the admin dashboard isn’t available. So I currently always need to deactivate this plugin in order to be able to access the admin dashboard.

    Hello,

    1. Please try deactivating all plugins, then active only Embed Plus YouTube WordPress. What happens when our plugin is the only one active? Does your admin dashboard work?
    2. After step 1 above, gradually activate each of your other plugins one at a time, and test your admin each time. Once the issue happens again, that will pinpoint exactly which other plugin is creating the conflict.
    3. What hosting company are you using? They may have logs that tell you exactly what line of code is causing the error.
