Hi @ismokeking
Sorry to hear about this issue on your website.
I tried to recreate the issue you mentioned, but couldn’t replicate it. You can refer to the screencast for reference:https://share.zight.com/yAuzkrvB
Can you share the screen recording of the whole process? You can use apps like Zight or Loom to record your screen or capture screenshots of the issue and easily share the links with us.
Did you receive an email about the critical error??Whenever a critical error message occurs, WordPress will automatically send an email to the admin. The email should contain the error log that tells us what caused the error.
If you don’t receive an email, kindly reach out to your host to check for the error log.
You can share here the error log file, so we would know what to do next.
Meanwhile, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/debug.log to see if anything gets logged there. https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
You can also try disabling all the plugins and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable the plugins one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to deactivate plugins.
Best Regards,
Archita
