    When restoring a backup, my site stopped working and I no longer have

    access to it !!! And now what do I do? My site worked perfectly, I just

    wanted to restore to remove a change, I had never had this problem, I don’t

    want to lose my site!
    I am using the free version

    Message say “There has been a critical error on your site.”

    and the debug mode does not work because my site was ruined in a backup !! Help!

    In case you still don’t have an access to your dashboard, you can download it using FTP client. All the backups and related stuff (e.g. log files) have been located in “/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/” directory.

    Hello, I recovered access to my site because the error was from a plugin and it arose during the restoration of a failed backup, but none of the backups that I had in backupguard worked, so I deleted them all, That′s a pity! I cannot retrieve the log. I always saw that every few days some backup said “warning” but I ignored it and used others, the next time I see this notice I will download the log as you tell me and I will contact you again, for now my site is fine. Thank you very much for your kind answer!
