There is no button add note in the dashboard screen options

Is it right that you’re on WP 4.4?

I’ve just tested things and it doesn’t seem to show the button correctly at this moment. After you verified, I’ll see if I can update this.

Yes, that’s right – I’m on WP 4.4. I installed the plugin on the version 4.3.1 but already at that moment there was no this button. Thank you.

I’ve updated the plugin.
“+Add note” link appeared (but not the button – but I see that in update descrition).
But in dashboard screen option there is no more “add note” column.

By default the new note is the list note;
Also I can’t change the label “New note”.

Yes, it was no longer possible to have the screen option button over there, personally I like this new one more too ??

The default note has always been a list note, but I do remember someone asking about changing this before, I know there is a code snippet in the support forums somewhere, but I can’t find it right now (maybe you can ??

How did you try to change the label? I do have the label successfully translated..
