    Hi,

I’ve been using the free version of this plugin without a hitch for almost 2 years.

But when I upgraded to v 1.4.5 all I seen in the feed is ‘There is no media in this feed’

I’ve looked at other support threads Here regarding Similar problems – but this has not helped.

I’ve re-authenticated with instagram successfully but all I see when I then hit the “view my feed button” is:

This is a private page. To make it public, edit it and change the visibility.

Cannot get other user media. API shut down by Instagram. Sorry. Display only your media.

There is clearly a problem with the feed rather than it’s presentation so id appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

Let me know if you’d like any additional information.

    Mike

    Hello dear friends,

Please enter Instagram feed > settings and make sure that you are authenticated.

If you are creating a hashtag feed, please make sure to logion to your Facebook account from Instagram feed > settings section to authenticate and then please do that as I show in my screencast, exactly the same steps https://www.loom.com/share/6164c1351df24c4db9eb6a9a04a27a96

If you are creating a username feed, please do that as I show in this screencast https://www.loom.com/share/0f2899e85fdf4998b39783d9eb0c474d

If that won’t work for you, please send me a similar screencast so I could understand what you are doing wrong.

Not sure if this will help, but I had to remove the username feed and re-add it. After doing that, it just worked.

I had to click on “Reset cache with Instagram data” under advanced also.

    props to peteryao & tobyw7 – It’s working again now !!!!!

I Removed The Feed, cleared the cache and then re-authenticated with instagram and added a ‘new’ feed and [ bit of finger trouble and repetition] Presto!

*Love* you guys = Many thanks

    Mike

    PS
Must say that (@zhannak) ‘stock’ (pasted) answers to the various posts about this/similar problem is less than helpful, and lends little confidence to the future of this plugin! But – for the moment – I’ll stick with it unless/until I have reason to switch…….

    Hi @mikepfive,

Yes, you are right I have written this reply under all the similar posts because people are just missing one of these steps and this is why they are getting the same issue.

Dear @peteryao and @tobyw7 thanks for sharing your experiences.

I have the same probleem and have followed the steps to the letter, several times. “There is no media in this feed”. I am using the personal (not business) login. Is this now deprecated?
