Greetings! I hope you are doing well. I am experimenting with setting up Masteriyo on my WordPress server.

I use Elastic Email as my SMTP provider and have configured a single verified domain email, “hello@my_domain.com,” which is distinct from my administration email, “[email protected].”.

Masteriyo’s seems to default to using my admin email “[email protected]” as the default “from email” sender, which causes the emails to not be sent out by my Elastic Email SMPT setup as the only allowed “from email” is “hello@my_domain.com”.

Masteriyo’s settings page does not seem to have an option to configure “from email” and “from name.” Hence, when my students try to reset their account password, the reset emails are never sent out from Masteriyo’s endpoint, as the emails are automatically dropped due to incorrect “from email” usage.

I have temporarily worked around this problem by changing my admin email to “hello@my_domain.com.” However, I would appreciate a more permanent solution, i.e., allowing the user to set a custom “from email” and “from name” using the settings page.

    Hello @alisalmanbilal

Currently, the admin email is used to send the email and regarding customizing the email addresses this is currently available in our premium version. We will talk about this within our team in order to bring minimal email customization in the Free version as well.

    Thank You
