Hello, I am trying to add an HTML field to an existing pod but am having no success in making the actual HTML Field appear when I refresh the page for my settings page.

I tried created a new Pod and adding an HTML field to it, but am having no luck whatsoever.

I looked around and found this forum post on GitHub that is literally the same problem I’m encountering right now.

    https://github.com/pods-framework/pods/issues/7220

    Any suggestions?

There’s a build script issue with our release process that is causing the code field to have a problem. I’m still working through solving that so it doesn’t cause the same issue again on the next 3.1.4 release. I’ll publish that release once that’s solved.

Actually that was for a code field issue, the HTML field issue is something I’ll look at today too.

Hey Scott, just posted a similar issue. Is there a way to rollback to a version of the plugin where this issue didn’t exist until the 3.1.4 release?

The WP Rollback plugin can quickly revert to previous versions of plugins.

It is prudent to backup the database before switching versions, either upgrading or downgrading.

@dmiwhit Can you verify if you have your HTML Content set in the Edit Field modal > HTML Content Options tab for that field?

I’m not seeing this issue in my testing.

If that’s not it, then please post your Pods Package on that linked GitHub issue so I can look at the issue more deeply there.

@sc0ttkclark – Hey Scott and Paul, thanks for being so responsive!

I checked the HTML Content was set, and the HTML Content Options tab is showing up.

How do I go about finding and exporting the Pods Package or information you’re needing?

Can you reach out through the upgrade support form here and include your Pods Package?

You can get it by going to Pods Admin > Components > Import/Export Packages. If you don’t have that then you’ll want to enable the Import/Export Packages component in Pods Admin > Components.
