THERE WAS AN ERROR TRYING TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER

Hiya,

I wondered if you can help with a problem that we, our developers and our IT guys cannot figure out. So this is a bit of a mystery.

This contact form has never worked and has always given us this error:
THERE WAS AN ERROR TRYING TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.

So far we have tried the following:
? Deleting contact form 7 from plugins and bringing it back in
? Several new contact forms
? Added the Easy WP SMTP plugin – the test shows it works fine
? Also tried various other WP SMTP plugins, all of which work fine
? Deleting the SMPT and contact form 7 plugins and starting again
? We’ve set up a new email to see if that worked
? Tried various other email addresses

Does anyone have any suggestions as we’ve run out of idea?
