There’s a lot wrong and a lot missing

    • I got errors on activation and errors on trying to create a form, which I reported in the WordPress support forum. No response after over a month.
    • The widget quit working, as I also described in the support request.
    • The link for where to get the API key, doesn’t go to the place to get an API key. It’s apparently trying to do a search of your help system, but the search fails, so basically it’s just a link to the help system.
    • When designing a form in the plugin:
    • The label for the firstname field is “Name”. So you have “Name” and “Last Name”.
    • There’s no way to customize the field labels.
    • There’s no way to specify that we want a checkbox field for the user to select groups.
    • There’s no way to specify which fields are required vs. optional.
    • It asks which groups as the first step before creating the form, when that could just be part of editing the form, so that screen is unnecessary.
    • The default form description is “Just simple MailerLite form!”. This is a poor default both because it’s ungrammatical, and because nobody would want this to appear above their form.
    • The default success message is “Thank you for sign up!” which is ungrammatical.
    • There’s no option for a consent checkbox as required by GDPR.
