There's Got To Be An Easy Way To Change Title and Tagline Colors

Okay, cool. Now we’re talking – this is what you need to add for the title and tagline:

This would be the title:

#site-title a {
    styles go here;
}

Tagline is site description:

#site-description {
   styles here;
}

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

There similar (but less powerful) CSS inspectors in Chrome and IE.

I believe I’ve got it now.

Forgot what to do to kill the Italics, but I found it.

Except for the Post body background color if I could darken it just a bit so it isn’t so stark white.

You’ll need to learn how to use Firebug (or other similar) if you are going to work with CSS — there’s virtually no way to do it otherwise unless you want to waste a lot of time and drive yourself crazy :).

The site-wide background is set in the wrapper div:

#wrapper {...}

OK, got the background changed for now. At least I know what to look for and can tweek it some more when I get the time.

Bumping this back up to look at the Fonts for Post Body, Post Title and the widgets. I’ve dug up a few old threads to see the coding, but I’m not sure what to put in the child theme, or where.
