• I want to purchase Thesis for my blog, however I’m just curious of I can tweak it all once installed before I make the theme go live – I’m guessing I will have full access to the theme editor in the WP control panel, and I can check how my tweaking is going by previewing the theme in the design area of my WP control panel? Then just swap themes once I’m happy?

Probably a really stupid question but I haven’t changed themes on my blog since I started it initially a year ago and I wanted to check up on this before I pay for the theme – and I can’t access their own support forum until I pay for it either.

  • Hey Richard,

Thesis disables the editor feature in WordPress, you do the editing through the hooks and CSS in the Thesis framework.

I’d recommend a free plugin called Thesis OpenHook. It allows you to do all your editing from the WP backend, no need to open the .css from your Cpanel.

You can always install Thesis on a test blog to get the styling worked out.

    Hope that helps.
