    Hi All,

First post here, and I honestly could not find this specific information anywhere. A client of ours has a site built in WordPress, and it looks like the current theme is Thesis.

I’m trying to figure out how to change out the bullets. They look like they’re of the “disc” type in the custom.css for Thesis. When we indent a bulleted list (say for job postings using the Job Manager plugin), it shows it changed to hollow circles, squares, etc. in the WYSIWYG, but not on the live site itself.

I’m attributing this to the theme not having code that differentiates different bulleted lists.

How would I go about making it so that when I indent, it shows a different kind of bullet (we have a lot of items to put into unordered lists, so this will help a lot).

    Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance, appreciate any and all help.

We can’t help with commercial themes.
Contact your theme’s vendors regarding this issue.

    Fast response…

I would, except that we can’t locate whoever signed up for the Thesis theme, and you need credentials to view their support forum apparently.

There’s nothing anyone can do here?

Are you using Firebug to look at the CSS? It should show you the selectors you need to use to override whatever is currently styling the lists.

Beyond that, we don’t have access to commercial themes, so can’t help with theme-specific problems.

Crap, I see what we’re into now.

It’s within the Thesis custom editor options, so it’s within WordPress I suppose.

Would it be wrong to post code, heh?

From a commercial theme? Yes. That would get deleted very quickly. ??

Your best bet for theme support really is to contact the vendor.

It’s not for us to undercut or deprive income from the theme developers. If you don’t have access to that forum then I suggest you try a different theme.

Sorry, but it’s against forum policy for us to provide support for commercial themes. I can only suggest that you track down the purchase or pay for additional support if you can’t sort out the CSS yourself.

Yeah, I figured. Worth a shot at least.

I’ll have to track down whoever bought it then, it’s not an option to change out the theme unfortunately. Was just a minor inconvenience with the bulleted lists.
