Problems with customer support

This comes from someone who is a happy WP-Rocket user! I wish I didn’t have to give a bad review, but I’ve tried everything I can to resolve my issue with support. I had used the plugin for a few months and it worked well, so I decided to subscribe for a full year. After using it about a month into my year membership I started to use the popular LR/WP plugin for uploading images from Lightroom.
Imagify is not compatible with this plugin! It will not detect when changes are made to an existing image and recompress the new version. Support couldn’t fix this issue and the comparable Shortpixel compression plugin works perfectly. So I just assumed, no problem I will switch to Shortpixel and I’m sure Imagify will refund the remainder of my membership.
But no, I couldn’t believe they refused. I understand I agreed to a year membership and they are under no obligation, but when your plugin isn’t working correctly for a good customer, how can you not just refund his unused credit. It’s just good support, I would always do it for a customer in my business.
