• I’ve been using this plugin for almost a decade. The previous version allowed you to fix every broken link from within WordPress, in the same plugin. Now it marks as “broken” links that are NOT broken, and also does not allow changing from within the plugin (or at least, I can’t find it) and you have to edit the original page and find where the link is, a task that becomes more complicated if Within that same page there is a lot of content and various links. A real garbage. They have trashed the plugin.

    Uninstalling…

    Hi?@magmlinares

Thank you for the review and sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the new plugin version.

Please note that the new part of core have some benefits as described in our docs:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/broken-link-checker/

The new part of the core is less bloat because it’s run by an engine we’ve developed and runs on the WPMU DEV side.

Note, you don’t need to have the WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin and connection to HUB in case you still want to use the old engine/old version of the plugin. After the recent update, you can use/switch to the old version which is still a part of the core of Broken Link Checker 2.0.

The 2.0 version is still in beta and we will work on improving BLC based on feedback received by our users whom we greatly value.

    Kind regards

    Luis
