  • On what basis do you believe this plugin steals your data? Or is this just a hunch?

    “IMPORTANT:
Support Tickets Center uses web services stored on Zingiri’s servers. In doing so, personal data is collected and stored on our servers.”

That’s software as a service – not stealing!

There is no real reason to store personal data, except so that you have the ability to sell it. Everyone else that reads that statement will understand that, I am surprised that you are unable.

Thanks esmi, it’s indeed software as a service.

The notice is there to alert users of the fact that customer data is stored on our servers. Such notice is in fact required to be provided by all WP plugins who provide saas solutions. If people don’t feel comfortable with that obviously they have the choice of not using the software.

Saas solutions have many advantages but indeed privacy and data security is often a concern for potential users of the service.

But rest assured that we don’t steal your data nor sell it.

Why do a user’s tickets need to be stored on your servers and not in the WordPress installations database?

It’s the way we designed the system and what our business model is based upon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_as_a_service).
