Things Above Sidebar

    Where can I add things that go above the sidebar? I tried adding it on top of the sidebar code, but that didn’t work. I have tried multiple things, and the best one was putting it in the header, but then it touches the sidebar, and I want about a 10px padding between it at the sidebars. I am using blogging simply as my theme and I want to embed a ustream stream, an example of what I would like it to be like is at https://www.chris.pirillo.com

    Any help is appreciated ??
