    Hello and good day.

I have other plugins which use shortcodes.

Is there a way to use shortcodes in your plugin to place content?

    Hi @rayeason,

Yes, by default, shortcodes are executed in the “Text Snippet” code type but if you wish to use shortcodes in HTML snippets, you can enable that by activating this snippet on your site: https://library.wpcode.com/snippet/y260d62k/

This way, you can add shortcodes in WPCode snippets and then use WPCode to insert those snippets where needed.

    Hello and good day,

Do I need to create a separate php snippit and run it site wide (or on those posts that are using the thirdparty shortcode)?

I have a shortcode from a membership plugin that can hide partial content on a page.

I want to use their short code in YOUR WPCODE plugin for placement using your plugin logic.

    Hi @rayeason,

You can use any shortcode in the WPCode snippet but you have to either use the Text code type for the shortcode to be executed or enable shortcode execution for HTML snippets using this snippet: https://library.wpcode.com/snippet/y260d62k/

Let me know if that helps
