• Hi,

I’m not sure if it’s possible in the free version.

I’d like to do something like this.

When I add two products from i.e. t-shirts category to the cart I don’t see any discount. However I can see discount 50% when I’m trying to add third product. Is it possible?

In summary I need promotion: “Buy two t-shirts and get third 50% off.”

    hi

    free version support it too.
    So by steps
    – click “Product Filters”
    – add 2 lines to this section (2 products + 1 product)
    – click “Products”
    – select mode “Split”
    – set discount for 2nd position

You will get something like https://imgur.com/lJmGqoI

    thanks, Alex

could you tell me alex how to set up every second product free from 2 categories?
I’d like to have buy one, get one free. Free should be cheaper option. So if customer buys 4 of certain categories, 2 cheeper of them would be free.

Sorry, I’m also on free version ??

thank you for such a fast responce.
If we don’t need that cheapest option, can we do it on free option?

    hi

Will you force to add free product to the cart automatically ?
    use section “Free Products”
    some examples, https://algolplus.com/plugins/dynamic-pricing-examples-get-products/

if customer should select 2nd product – use this way
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/third-product-50-off/#post-11974845
But last step will be “-set zero cost for 2nd position”

    thanks, Alex

well, I’ve tried that and this seems not the way we want.
I need to have any 2 products from 2 categories which second one is free (now i have 50% on cart if 2 of products from same category is selected). if client wants 3 products, only 1 free. if he wants 4, then 2 for free. Every second sould be free from those two categories.

    whoa, that’s super ??
I believe this is closest to what we want, except that “Apply at first to: Cheap products” doesn’t work. If I insert cheaper product let’s say 5€ to card, and then another for 13€ – my cart will be only 5€. Would be nice if that application could work

Do you use SAME categories for both product filters?

try “Apply at first to: Expensive products”

yeah, “expensive products” does the opposite it’s written ?? but it works, as far as I tested :)))
https://judesiukas.nereal.us/screen.png yes, it’s the SAME two categories.

The plugin applies product filters to “expensive products” at first.

look at your filters: expensive item will be assigned to 1st position , cheaper – to 2nd.
