This button was not removed in 4.4

  • Ok, fixing the rating as I was mistaken.
    If you have Jetpack it also keeps your short link button.

    Sorry, but what is this all about?!

    Unless you already are using another plugin that adds a filter to either the pre_get_shortlink or the get_shortlink hook (or if something like this is done by your theme), there is no Get Shortlink button anymore, as of WordPress 4.4.

    Please see for yourself, if you don’t believe me.

    Rating a plugin (bad) without understanding what it is about is nonsense. Sorry.

    Please remove this review.

    well, I’m not a developer and I can’t understand the link that you’ve placed but from some reason it works for me in few WP installations and doesn’t work in others.
    How can I remove this review?

    So sorry, but I found where it’s coming from.
    It’s coming from Jetpack. It fixes it as well.
    As I can’t find how to fix or delete this review please do it if you find how. or fix to 5 stars.
