• Hi

Updated to the latest edition and now I’m getting this validation error and emails are not sending.

The idea of having only domain only email addresses is slightly insane in the practical world.

I have many clients who simply prefer and want to use gmail. While in principle this is easy to set up, for some people it is not.

Is there not a better way to confirm an email address? Send a validation email to click etc.

At the moment this system is not working.

  • I have same problem.
All my client use the gmail for set the contact-form-7.
    How to solve this problem.
    Please suggest me.

    Thank you,
    Thananit

Same problem here after an upgrade to version 4.4.

Even if I enter an email address with the correct domain into the “From” field, I get the error message “This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.”

Even if I create a new contact form, this error message shows immediately, suggesting it is a problem with the plugin rather than the user input.

It would have been helpful to add the expected domain to the error message to prevent guessing and trial-and-error work.

    Hi all,

similar here … I’ve configured the FROM-Field like this:
    [sender-name] <[sender-email]>

Designated target thereof is, that the recipient (potential seller) of the mail can just hit reply in his mail-client to answer the question (of the customer). And this works flawless since years … being still.

But now Contact Form 7 tells me after every login in red letters:
“This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.”

Sorry, but unfortunately this is very annoying!

How can I solve this easily on multiple WP-platforms?

    TIA.
