this forum provides evidence against open source community and suggests that large corporations like microsoft are on the right track. here are two reasons why i think so:

look through the archives of this message board with an eye toward the topics in relation to the number of responses posted. if i have some sanity, i found that people who had installation problems in this “installation” board received 1 or 2 responses. other users receive much more help.

secondly, issues that related to non-microsoft domains (such as browsers like firefox or system related issues that are not linux/unix) are almost completely ignored. maybe i am wrong, but this is my perception after some three hours of wading over three days.

in conclusion, this message board /help / community is perceived as worthless to me before i post my own problem…

methinks someone wanted to read ‘How to win friends and influence people’ but instead read ‘How to create enemies and influence no one.’

Nice plug for microsoft and corporatism in general though.

Gotta admit though that considering the way I was just treated by Automattic, it’ll be a cold day in hell before I answer any more questions around here anymore.
