    I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with this UPI plugin. It works perfectly when customers pay by scanning a QR code. However, the real problem arises when customers attempt to make payments on a mobile device using any UPI app like Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, or any banking app. Every single customer, without exception, receives an infuriating “Payment Failed – Payment Limit Exceeded” error message.

    I want to make it clear that this issue is not on the customer’s side. It’s not the banks causing the problem. It’s unequivocally a flaw within this plugin. This isn’t just one or two isolated incidents; it’s happened to more than five customers who’ve tried to make payments through UPI apps on their mobile devices. What’s even more frustrating is that if the customer attempts a regular payment using their UPI ID or a QR code, it goes through without a hitch. The problem lies squarely with this plugin, and it’s becoming incredibly exasperating.

    Thanks for contacting us.
    This issue is not with plugin. These kind of issues are common when you use your personal UPI id instead of Business/Merchant UPI id. Because in personal UPI id (VPA), UPI intent feature is not enabled. These kind of issues occur when UPI intent is not enabled for your UPI id by your bank. You can try signing up at PhonePe for Business or similar app. The issues should get fixed automatically if UPI intent is enabled.
