Sorry to hear you had spam issues.

ReCaptcha is a good feature to fight spam but unfortunately, it is not bulletproof, I can see your ticket about it was not replied back https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unable-to-set-recaptcha/ were you able to add the field after support?

But I would also suggest giving it a try in the hCaptcha https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#hcaptcha-settings which is an interesting alternative to Google ReCaptcha and some big providers like Cloudflare already switched to it https://blog.cloudflare.com/moving-from-recaptcha-to-hcaptcha/

We also have the honeypot out of Box in Forminator, it is available in the Form security setting: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#security

Forminator also integrates out of the box with Akismet, available in the same security setting or CleanTalk Anti-Spam
