This is how backup should work!

Finally a backup plugin that does what backup should do.

We don’t need all the fancy “send to dropbox” or whatever and most of us have automated backups with their hosting company already.

I need a backup that I can make to:

1. Quickly apply before I update or install plugins.
2. To quickly duplicate my website on localhost to test stuff.

Many other backups plugins only offer drop-tables services in their paid version so all their other well intended functions are useless.

Also what good are backups that you can restore from the backend when most of the time you need a backup because the back-end is down. Duplicator comes with a installer that you just drop on your server together with the zipped file. Thats all to restore from youraddress.com/installer.php

I have this functionality in Joomla with Akeeba and now I have it in WordPress.

I hassled with 5 plugins all day and finally this one did the trick in just minutes.

Now I’m very willing to see what extra functions the Pro version has… Hey, send to dropbox. Could be quite handy for my client…
