That doesn’t come from the core WooCommerce plugin and might be generated by the theme you’re using. Can you check the content of your store page under Pages > All Pages > YOUR SHOP PAGE? If that sentence isn’t showing up there, are you still experiencing the same issue after deactivating all of your plugins (except WooCommerce) and switching to the default Twenty Seventeen theme?

Thanks! I should have checked the theme. This has nothing to do with woocommerce. We will get in touch with the theme author and get it figured out. I will comeback and post the solution.

Looked all over to find the text

It is not shown, so we did not know how to modify it. To modify it, you go to the shop page and click edit then title and fill in the empty subheading field with your text.

If you want to remove it, the proper way is to follow the instructions from the oceanwp author on the thread linked below.

Ok, Actually this does come from woocommerce. It seems some themes handle it differently. If you look at the instructions for oceanwp on how to get rid of it you will see the code needs to be added to a woocommerce file.

I use oceanwp too and love it. So I set the shop page to a new page called catalogue and then in the page, oceanWP settings, under ‘title’… I did disable Display Heading. Simpler solution.
