This isn't working on WordPress 4.0 Benny.
-
I uploaded the Real Time Find and Replace plugin on my WordPress multisite install and network activated it. Then I used the plugin like this:
I X’ed out of the page I wanted to modify using this plugin.
I cleared my cache (Firefox on a Mac).
I typed into the “Find” box: /exactly/
I typed into the “Replace” box: /precisely/
I didn’t check regex.
I clicked “Update Settings” button.
I opened a new window and went back to the page I wanted to modify annnnnd….nothing. The word “exactly” was still displayed.I tried network deactivating it and activating it on the main site only, but still no joy.
So, it looks like this isn’t working on WP 4.0 Benny, alas. Either that, or I’m doing something wrong, but I can’t imagine what.
I want this to work so, so badly! This is exactly what I need. Please, oh please…. *grovel* ??
Seriously, thank you for your hard work so far on this plugin. I won’t rate it, simply because I can’t use it right now, so rating it would be unfair. When it’s updated for WP 4.0, I’ll try it again and rate it then.
Any idea when or if this will be updated? Is it still being maintained?
