This item was added to your site after the most recent scan. We will check for threats during the next scheduled one.

even though there was multiple scans after adding additional plugins/themes.

  • Hi @a1exus,

I see you mentioned that multiple scans were completed after adding additional plugins, but that you were seeing that not all of them were scanned, as one of those (or multiple) were left unscanned.

I’ve looked on our end and found that your website wasn’t fully in sync with Jetpack. I’ve started the process to resolve that, and you can give it a couple of hours before it completes.

Do let us know if you still experience the same issue after that.

Thank you for looking into this for me, I really appreciate that!

Is there a way for an average Joe to see that magical sync status with Jetpack somehow/somewhere? I hear awful a lot about that lately and it seems like me banging my head against the wall could have been something to do with Jetpack’ syncing issues, which again would be super helpful to see (probably would makes sense to incorporate that into main Dashboard in my opinion, or maybe i just didn’t find it)

    Hi @a1exus

In most cases, Jetpack will resolve these issues on its own. That said, you may be able to find some info about it at “Site Health > Info > Jetpack” in your WP Admin. You can see it in this screenshot:

Has the sync fix resolved the issue that you were having with scans?

    Hi?@a1exus,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    Hi there, @a1exus,

Thanks for your patience while our team investigated your case. It looks like the notification you received were triggered by two plugins updating versions: the Wikipedia plugin was updated to a new version, and the Table of Contents plugin installed recently.

The info notice you reported is expected for both, and the info in the notice is accurate. you don’t need to worry about anything; just know that the free version of Protect scans every 24 hours.?In case you prefer to get on-demand checks, you will need to upgrade (and if you have questions, please reach out via this contact form as we'[re not allowed to discuss pre-sales matters in the public forum).

Last but not least, keep an eye on the notifications: if they are too many in frequency, we’ll file a bug request for you, so that our team can investigate even further in case you stumbled upon a bug — but by the look of it, you should not.

    Hope that’s all clear!
