This once great plugin is showing signs of degradation

The Favorite button does not consistenty indicate a page that you have marked or not each time you refresh the page – off and on. The favorite list doesn’t show my fav links. Looking at the plugin’s last update – over a year ago, it looks like the author has bandoned it or no time to maintain it. I deinstalled it. The alternative plugin that does the same thing is WP Favorite Posts.
