This Page Can't Be Displayed

  • Hello,

    I am relatively new to WordPress. I have been using it since Jan. 2013 and it has been rock solid-I really like it. Not being a programmer (more of a designer) I am at a loss as to how to correct a problem that’s recently showed up. About the past 2 weeks I am experiencing a problem that prevents me from easily updating pages – the content is being updated but after pressing the Update button I get the following message (and it is becoming more consistent)

    This page can’t be displayed

    ?Make sure the web address https://ub-thechange.org is correct.
    ?Look for the page with your search engine.
    ?Refresh the page in a few minutes.
    Fix connection problems

  • same issue as noted. Please help.

    I added the page, it is showing on the menu, it is showing in the dashboard, but when I go to the visit site, clicked on page, and it indicated “Page not found”

    All all the widgets and social symbols are list . . . so what is happening. . . help, please

    Dear WordPressers,

    I too love using WordPress. Usually, when I suddenly experience a problem out of the wild blue, it is because I just added or updated a plug in. In this case, I am not aware of changing anything. One minute I was happily editing pages, the nest minute I began to get a similar error to what these two WP users describe. In my case, the pages won’t update and I get a message saying: “This page can’t be displayed.” Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I was pulling my hair out with this problem guys and I think I found the problem. When I used media (pictures, mp3s etc..) from another source (different url other than your own) onto my site instead of uploading through my site as its own media source (your sites url), Wp doesn’t like it. I hope this helps.

    I am VERY new to WordPress. I created my web pages a couple of weeks ago. I was making HTML code changes Friday (creating buttons and text boxes). Come Saturday, I can no longer find my web site. I just get msg that This Page can’t be displayed. Which means I have no dashboard to work from. I have nothing except www.ads-software.com to work with. Thank you for your help.
