This page isn’t working

Hi @offthewallcreative, sorry about the error. HTTP code 414 suggests the URL is too long. I admit the URL has gotten longer and longer as I’ve added more features! But I wouldn’t expect it to be maybe a few hundreds characters, whereas the default for servers and browsers is for many thousands. Can you share the URL it’s sending you to? Maybe I can trim it down.
Or if you control the server, you could allow longer URLs by modifying a setting in the web server.

Im not sure if I will be able to allow longer URLs through my server. If you can give me a little more info on what to specifically ask my server support, I could try that.

I’m not sure the long URLs are really the issue yet. I also got a 403 trying to access the page, suggesting modsecurity or something is blocking the requests.
I made the URL shorter https://www.greylynn2030.co.nz/wordpress/?show_title=1&print-my-blog=1&format=print (cut out most of the options, just to see if I could get something to work) and it switched to giving me a 404 response.
Is Print My Blog still active on that site?

Thanks. Great news. It did something. It has actioned a 15 page PDF. I think they are the titles of the blogs.

I see you have iThemes restricting access to the REST API because I’m getting this error

but it may be working for you, as a site administrator. It would help me debug if you could at least temporarily allow unprivileged use of the REST API.

That one instructs Print My Blog to also include the post’s content, featured image, date and categories.

But it seems some webservers get upset when they see long querystrings, so that would be something to avoid in the plugin if possible.
