This page isn’t working [site name] didn’t send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPON

  • Every time I try to edit a page, I get this error:

    This page isn’t working
    ___ didn’t send any data.
    ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

    I’ve found it’s the Allston Core plugin that is the problem, but the plugin support says I need to update my php.ini file. I did that, and I am still getting the error. I’ve also read that some people fixed a similar problem by reverting back to a previous wordpress version, or updating their cpanel. I’m just not sure where to go next.. Anyone have a solution for this?

    Where did you download this plugin from?

    It’s part of the Allston Theme, it’s a required plugin for the theme.

    If I deactivate the plugin, my pages become full of code that starts with this:
    [eltdf_elements]

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. They cannot support their customers here.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there. Also, forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly.
