Every single day we need to resubmit authentication. DOES THIS PLUGIN NOT WORK WITH GMAIL?? We receive this error message:

EMAIL DELIVERY ERROR: the plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.9.0 logged this error during the last time it tried to send an email:

}
Please re-grant Google app permissions!
Go to WP Mail SMTP plugin settings page. Click the “Remove Connection” button.
Then click the “Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account” button and re-enable access.
Consider running an email test after fixing it.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. This seems to happen if the Google app (OAuth screen section screenshot) is in the “Test mode” and needs to be changed to “Production” to resolve this issue. We have updated the documentation as well. You can follow the documentation and creating a new app should also fix the issue. Please make sure you’ve used the latest version of the WP Mail SMTP plugin and do not have other plugins related to Google apps that might create a conflict.

Hi,

same issue here.

I use payed Google Workspace, so I can not switch app to production mode.
Also: “Remove connection” button is not available on plugin setting page in this phase, only the “Allow plugin to send…” button…
