This plugin causes Malicius detection by Google Ads
-
Hi,
I used to install “Click to chat” plugin to add Whatsapp floating button to my customers sites. This time i found yours and i really liked. But When i planned a campaign, Google Ads rejected all my ads with the message “malicious software”.
So i scanned my site with Wordfence and Securi plugins, i also scanned from virustotal.com without positive results. Then i downloaded mi whole site and database and scanned with Malwarebytes Premium version, but nothing appeared, none detections.
So i finally could start a chat with Google Ads Support and they analized mi site and sent me ni an email a text file with the “malious string” that is triggering this issue. And it′s the follwing:
I replaced the id by MY-ID
So that′s all, i don′t mean this is an insecure plugin, but i thought that it was a important point to share with you so you can review the code and find out this issue that maybe you did′n hear about.
In the while i had to deactivate this beautiful plugin.
Best regards!
