    I was trying to install this plugin but am getting a strange error message:

    This plugin does not work with your version of PHP.

    Here is a screenshot: https://snipboard.io/2wT0pm.jpg.

    However, my server is running the plugin’s requested PHP version: 7.4. I have also tried to use PHP 8.0 but no dice…

    Anyone knows why this is happening? It is the first time I see this error with any plugin.

    Thanks,

    @fabricis,

    This is a feature of WordPress to match the server’s version of PHP against the required version for the plugin. I double-checked and Force Refresh does require no higher than PHP 7.4.

    Are you able to provide a screenshot with more info about your PHP version using something like phpinfo() or a plugin?

    Thanks for the speedy reply!

    I installed the plugin you suggested and realized that actually the PHP version is 7.3.33…
    Something for my hosting provider to sort because in the cPanel it says that it is using 7.4… ??

    Thanks again!

    Problem solved!
    I decided to check it with the phpinfo() on a different site in the same host and realized that this other site was indeed running PHP 7.4…
    I checked the .htaccess of the faulty site and sure enough it was referring to version 7.3… ??
    Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

    Ah, gotcha. That makes sense. Happy to help get that sorted out — let me know if you run into any hiccups. I’ll close out this request for now.
