Wordfence has picked up this file:

    wp-admin/simple-301-redirects.2021-09-09.json

In the file are lots of urls, and that is it, so it doesn’t appear malicious.

This doesn’t seem right. Any reason why this file would be there?

  • Hello @wordpressrun,

I hope you are doing well.

I have checked your issue and it seems really strange! Because this file should be downloaded on your PC when you export your links. And usually Simple 301 Redirects by BetterLinks doesn’t store this type of file on the wp-admin directory. So I would suggest you to delete this file manually and it will not affect your website.

And if you face the same issue again, I recommend you to open a support ticket on our dedicated support desk to get a quick solution – https://wpdeveloper.net/support/new-ticket/

Have a good day, thank you ??

    Hi @wordpressrun,

    Sorry for the late reply.
We have fixed it. No file will be created in wp-admin anymore. You can delete your existing ones (won’t be an issue). And, we have replaced our .JSON file with .CSV file.

    Thanks!
