• This plugin came with two sites that a new client has had developed by another party early 2014. I moved the sites over to a better hostingserver and corrected some strange setups made by the original developer.

Some months after the move client made some edits and after that one of the sites went offline. Error reporting lead to AIO EC. After deactivating the plugin the site went back online.
Also at some point I experienced the plugin using a lot of server memory.

Recently I discovered that one of the site creates several cache files with 465kB size a day taking up hundreds of Mb’s diskspace.

On both occassions the support from TimeLy was poor. The respons on the first issue (july 2014) was something like “well thats your problem when you work with the older WP and plugin version”. Later on they did respond with understanding but did not help.
On the second issue there was no response at all.

I advised the client to update. (current versions WP 3.7.1 and AIO EC with 2.1.9 and on the other site 2.2.1) And I honestly, having experienced the prior issues, only will take this on with great caution (backing up and testing on a staging server before updating the live sites) which will take time to do so.
Problem is that the client does not have the funds to have WP and plugin of the sites updated.

Based on my experience with this plugin and the poor support I would never advice a client to use this plugin.

Perhaps the latest plugin with the latest WP version works well but I only have negative experiences with All in one Event Calendar.

PS: The increase in the number of recent reviews are the result of the plugin builder asking users to give it a 5 star rating. There is nothing wrong with that but should be mentioned here.
