This plugin is not working

  • Hi, I know this plugin is not being updated from at least three wordpress versions.

    I want to ask you if you still are using it, and whats are you doing to make it work? If you are not using it, which is ther alternative you are using?

    I am trying to make it work and does not show, for example one table of results.

    Any help?

    I love this plugin and I’ve used it for five years with WP 4.4. and PHP 5.3, but they are very old and my CentOS 6 is reaching its end of life.

    I’ve made some tests with WP 5.X and PHP 7 without any success. I’ve got some problems
    with themes and compilers.

    So I’m looking for an alternative but I find only multisports plugin.
    WP Athletics still remains the best plugin for running events management.

    If you find something please update this post.

    I’ve fixed some features… And now they work. But, i have asked a developer to develop a new one based on this plugin and it’s asking me about $500.

    If my client agrees I’ll hire this developer but.. at this moment… It’s a pity.

    Dear friend , five hundred dollars don’t seem a high price to develop
    a new plugin but I don’t know which new feature you ask for, besides the
    migration from WP 4.X to 5.X and PHP 5 to PHP 7.

    I would have liked to contribute to this investment but for my athletics web site I don’t get any income so I’m sorry I can’t.

    I was thinking in some interesting features, like importing the result of the events in a csv file, for example.

    $500 is not a very important budget, but my client is a small athelics club and has not very important incomes. He is thinking about it, it was a nice project, but I think this is the end and won’t continue.

    Hi all. I’m the original plugin author and just randomly decided to drop in on this forum, it’s been many years!

    I really hate to hear of you having to shell out $500 to get this developed. What exactly needs to be done on the plugin to get it back into shape? I haven’t worked on this in easily over 5 years but pleasantly surprised to hear people still use it and find it useful. I’ll see if I can find some time in the new year to bring the plugin back up to date so I will need to gather a list of priorities and just work through them.

    I’m using this fantastic plugin from 2015. I’ve manage over fifty athletes, loaded about
    three thousand results, and many many races.
    if you decide to update this software we would all be very
    grateful and each of us could give a little help by doing tests or whatever you think is best. Thanks again for this plugin.

    I would be great to get this updated again especially with the Olympics around the corner, I’m sure a few of us would club in to help with costs to get this back up and running properly again.
